My name is Shelly Martin and I love vintage things! I also love to paint...I especially love to find vintage things to paint for that magical one of a kind creation!
When I was growing up in Michigan, my daddy used to drag me on many of his antique seeking expeditions. To me this was always very exciting, much like seeking hidden treasure! I really adored going to the big flea markets! Given a few dollars, I'd always come home with some very special find.
Eventually when I learned to paint, I began applying my art to many of these vintage finds...Now, a day doesn't go by where I am not dreaming up some new thing to paint!
I just love time worn vintage pieces that add romance to a home.
